1. Prices
The prices shown on our website include 20% VAT. Prices do not include shipping and handling.
Transport costs are under Transport below and FAQ.
Galaxy Kayaks reserve the right to change prices listed on our website without notice. We also reserve the right to change the equipment, finishes and specifications of the kayaks, packs as well as the accessories on our website without notice.
2. Payment methods
There are several ways to buy our products:
From our online store on the website; the easiest and fastest option.
1. You choose the products, colours and accessories, and add to your cart as desired.
Shipping prices shown in cart are provisional until you provide your address.
2. Open the basket and select confirm, check your order and proceed to go to one of the following options:
- Already registered? Click the link to be identified
- New customer?
Fill in the client form with your email, password, full address, and at least one phone number for delivery.
3. Please review your order, delivery, and select a payment method below:
Payment by Paypal
Payment is made directly when you confirm in the secure Paypal page. This page enables you to pay via credit, debit card and of course direct through your Paypal account.
When payment has been made we are notified automatically, then you will receive a confirmation email.
We will then proceed to prepare the shipment of the order. All orders are prepared for dispatch within 24 hours of payment confirmation.

Indicating the following information:
- Full details of your order (kayak model, accessories, colour, optional extra equipment, size etc.).
- Full name.
- Address where you want to receive the shipment, and contact telephone number for delivery.
What happens next:
We will contact you to inform you of the availability of the item or items you want to buy.
We send you an email with the order details and payment options.
24 hours after receiving payment, Dispatch time is within 72 hours of payment received. You will receive it within 48-72 hours from its dispatch in mainland and 5 to 10 days to other locations.
3. Transport
All the kayaks that we send have transport insurance included. Therefore, when the customer gets a kayak, they have 24 hours in order to review it and find possible transport damage.
When the transport agency delivers the kayak, they will ask you to review the product to see if it's in good condition before signing. If you do not have time to review it then and there, sign the delivery form as 'TO BE REVIEWED'. You will have 24 hours to review the product and claim any transport damage.
If you find any serious deterioration you should contact us immediately, so that we can make a claim to the transit agency in time.
4. Returns
Customers can return items within 14 days of purchase provided that they are in an unused condition and in original packaging. Shipping costs of returning an order will be assumed by the customer.
5. Warranty
Kayaks sold by Galaxy Kayaks have a 3-year warranty! You must keep your proof of purchase receipt and present it if making any claim.
The warranty covers damages to the hull of the kayak and manufacturing defects, not the effects arising from improper use of the kayak. The accessories that come with the kayaks are not covered in the warranty.
6. Complaints
If we should receive a complaint about any part of our service, by phone, e-mail or letter, then it will be dealt with promptly (we will reply within 5 working days). It will then be dealt with confidentially, and effectively.
7. Limitation of liability
Kayaking is an activity that can be dangerous and can cause serious injury or even death. Galaxy Kayaks will not be responsible for any accident or mishap occurred during the use of the products it sells. It is the responsibility of the customer, to be physically and technically able to use the products sold by Galaxy Kayaks. Galaxy Kayaks does not assume any responsibility for any of its products sold.
Kayak Safety: Get qualified instruction for the type of craft and equipment you will use, and follow safe practices.
In addition:
- Never go kayaking alone
- Never go out without a personal floatation device
- Obtain certified first-aid training
- Wear appropriate clothing and dress for weather and water conditions
- Never leave without checking all your equipment
- Never go out in dangerous conditions
- Never paddle in flood conditions
- Never leave without checking the weather conditions
- Be aware of river water levels, tidal changes, dangerous currents, underwater hazards, and weather changes
- Always notify friends and family of where you go and how long it will take
- Make sure your mobile phone is well stored in a waterproof bag
- Always take a radio with you to communicate with fellow paddlers and the coastguard
- Always take all necessary safety equipment: knife, flashlight, whistle, radio etc
- Never go without necessities like water, sun cream, a hat, sun glasses and some high energy food (like an energy bar)
By accepting these Terms and Conditions you understand that paddling involves certain risks including but not limited to the risk of serious injury or death. You freely agree to assume full responsibility for the risks involved.
8. Privacy Policy
On this website, owned by Galaxy kayaks, we ensure full protection of personal information provided by our users.
In accordance with the provisions of Law 15/1999 of Data Protection, we inform you that the personal data provided via application forms on this website or through emails, can be incorporated into a file of personal data registered with the UK Data Protection Agency, with the purpose of collecting the personal data that is obtained through the contact forms available on the website of the company.
By sending forms to this website, the sender gives his consent to be included in the above mentioned files. Likewise, we inform you that from this site we may be collecting IP addresses of users, which will also be treated according to current regulations.
Your details will not be disclosed to third parties without your consent. Galaxy Kayaks will respect the confidentiality of their data at all times, as under the Law 15/1999 of 13 December on Personal Data Protection (LOPD).
At any time you can enforce your rights of objection, access, rectification, cancellation and opposition of the authorization without retroactive effect on the terms specified in the Organic Law 15/1999 on Protection of Personal Data in accordance with the procedure established by law.
